Teens Evening Art Club - Tuesdays 6:30pm-8pm
This is a chance to develop existing art skills and learn new ones. From print-making to sewing, painting to model-making, our weekly art club for secondary school kids aims to challenge and inspire young artists, as well as providing a welcome change from normal academic work. Our cosy studio and creative projects make for a relaxing, calming and exciting way to create art. We do sketchbook work weekly and while art clubbers are introduced to a varied set of new projects every term, they may also choose to work on individual art projects such as GCSE or A-level Art homework or portfolios.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this club for and where will it be held?
This club is for creative tweens and teens who are either just joining or already enrolled in secondary school. It’s held at our studio in Sydenham in our large front room, and runs in the evening every Tuesday during term-time. The cost is £25/week, booked on a termly contract (which rolls over term-to-term until you cancel and is charged by Direct Debit in one amount just before the start of each new term).
Who leads the club?
The sessions are led by local artist Pam Berry, who has years of experience working with pre-teens and teens, nurturing their creativity. Projects throughout the year cover many types of activities - illustration, painting, sculpture, modelling, printing and sewing, to name a few. On occasion, Pam will work alongside other local artists with specialist skillsets. These sessions will help inspire this age group and develop their skills for a variety of creative career paths or just for fun and relaxation. Pam will teach different types of projects throughout the year, but teens can also choose to focus their weekly work on art homework, portfolios and/or sketchbooks.
What are the benefits of art club?
These sessions offer kids the opportunity to express themselves, share their ideas and socialise with friends outside of the school environment. We regularly celebrate the progress and achievement of attendees and strive to inspire within them confidence and a sense of belonging as they build relationships with their peers.
